Flipped Issue: Fall 2024: McKenna Edwards
Each semester, The Bell publishes a flipped issue that showcases the plethora of talent our visual team has. Our pen team is given a photo to use as inspiration for this issue’s articles while more photos are highlighted in between.
This issue’s theme is “Home.” For The Bell’s visual team, home is more than a place–it’s a feeling. A feeling of belonging, of familiarity, of warmth, and of comfort. These photos are by third-year McKenna Edwards.
Words from the photographer
Girlhood makes home feel all the more closer. This photo was taken of a group of girls at Porchfest this past October. They were swaying back and forth and enjoying having each other as company.
This photo was actually taken at home one weekend when I visited. That truck has been sitting there for as long as I can remember. Looking at it makes me believe that changes don’t happen fast.
